The 2010/2011 Premier League season will be the 19th season of the Barclays Premier League since it's formation in the 1992/93 season. The season will start on 14 August 2010 the draw for the fixtures will be made on the 17 June 2010. Current champions Chelsea will be in search of their 4th Premier League title in 7 seasons, while Manchester United F.C will be searching for the title that takes them ahead of Liverpool on the English title count which will put them on 19 titles leaving Liverpool on 18.

Replacing relegated Burnely, Hull City, and Portsmouth from the 2009/2010 Premier League season from the Championship are Newcastle United, as champions, West Bromwich Albion, as runners-up, and Blackpool, as winners of the play-offs. This Blackpool's first appearence in the top flight of English Football.

For the first time since the 1983/84 season all of the 4 major west midlands clubs will be competing against eachother that is Aston Villa, Birmingham City, West Bromwich Albion, and Wolverhampton Wanderes. The highest stadium capacity in the season will again be Manchester United's Old Trafford with a capacity of 75,957. The lowest stadium capacity will be Blackpool's Bloomfield Road with a capacity of 12,555, note: the club plan to expand it to 16,000 still making it the lowest stadium capacity.COME ON LIVERPOOL
